1) Free Talk continues. . . 2) Passing through Hong Kong on the way to Zhuhai!

Yesterday (Friday) we had a really good free talk time using an essay called “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff.” Most of the people in the free talk group were teachers, but there were a couple of students from previous camps. One students shared how she had learned through a time of failure. Luke was able to share how sometimes bigger issues are involved and lessons can be learned during times of failure. It was a good time to talk together and we really hope teachers will come to free talk activities next week.

Our final four team members arrived in Hong Kong this evening. As you may have read in a previous post, Luke B and Lauren almost missed their connecting flight in Detroit. They had to literally run to catch the flight and were the last ones on the plane. What we didn’t know was that Rob and Ken also nearly missed their flight. Anyway, everyone (and his/her luggage) got into Hong Kong about 8pm on Saturday night. Unlike every other day on this trip, we had some pretty heavy rain – but that didn’t deter us from eating outside (under a tarp) in the Night Market.

Tomorrow morning – on to Zhuhai.
Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts.
Jeff

Weary travelers! The final four team members who just arrived tonight - Rob, Ken, Lauren and Luke B.

Ken and Lauren prepare to dig into the exquisite cuisine of the night market - Hong Kong. Everyone loved the food. That’s a good sign.

Despite a downpour, business goes on at the Temple Street Night Market.
