We began the professional development training for English teachers at Doumen today. In the past, this training has lasted for five days, but due to budget cuts, the training has been reduced to two days. We were afraid that the teachers would not really be able to get their "English ears" on in such a short time, i.e., they would not be able to really hear and speak so quickly. But thanks to great activities by Jana and Nancy, the teachers really got involved. Laughter and loud talking could be heard throughout the room during the activity times.
Our blogs have been very limited so far because we have not been able to log on to the internet. I've been sending updates via my cell phone. Sorry for the brevity.
